Kung fu absolutely can be a full and challenging cardio, strengthening and skill workout. I personally have adapted some specific ‘gym’ exercises that help deter me from injury in body areas that sustained last injury long ago and otherwise easily flare up.
Jamie & I did Staff, double stick, stick & dagger, cover & slash and refined some points we worried might get sloppy if not. It was great!
Also did 40 min Elliptical, biked w Straight blast, weights & my leg PT stability exercises ( though this has only moderately helped horse stance). Stretched and used foam roller- not long enough... more stretching planned today. Happy Cinco de Mayo

Awesome job Beth and Jamie. Keep up the great work.

Kudos Beth. I know how much you enjoy the elliptical so am impressed that you kept it up with the gym closed!

BTW Sifu mentioned the other day that you might be open to networking to practice stuff. If you're interested let's figure something out. I know I would benefit from the in person practice (I'm not sick ;) but I understand if you're cautious.
