“Learn to spin wool fleece into yarn using an ancient tool, the drop spindle. The spinning wheel was invented during the Middle Ages, so before that all cloth was made of yarn spun on some form of drop spindle.
I have three spindles and balls of fleece (total cost 15$), but if more people sign up, they should get a beginner spindle and some fleece at Pacific Wool And Fiber in Newberg, across from Burgerville.
I’ll teach a tiny tad about spindle history, but we will focus on making yarn”
