I set an audacious goal for doing 60 forms three out of every four days a few weeks ago. I haven't made one day with 60 reps since I set that goal. Spring break hit and we went on the mountain, to the beach, and to the gorge. I was able to get two reps of each form a day and a little staff work, but wasn't able/rather chose not to/ make the space to get the reps in. It was good to take a break. Since spring break, I have been doing two reps of each form a day given that we have four weeks left of school and I am constantly interrupted and needed throughout the day. Once May comes, I am going to re-evaluate my space again and hopefully ramp up training towards the 2nd belt test.

I hope classes are going well and Dakota is back on the forms track. Any news there?

You are inspiring me to practice my forms more. Of all workouts, forms have ever been my favorite; from the start I have been attracted to their beauty and discipline.
Also, I am enjoying the meditation practice of Qigong that Mr. Bronson taught me. It settles me down when I start to worry excessively about some stupid thing. It brings me back into a more focussed state.

The forms, done correctly, is where we start strengthening the warrior resolve. This is a hard path. You are doing well. Dakota is not back in forms yet but I will keep working on him.
