Sunday night I smashed my hand between a heavy load of dirt and the van. I had nerve pain and could not use my hand. Sophia used my salve and did deep tissue massage for about 5 minutes. Extremely painful ! I was able to use my hand after that and the bruising left by yesterday. Wow. What a healing. I thought at first my hand would be out of commission for a few days or more. I had also hurt my upper back digging holes a few days prior to smashing my hand. I had hurt it bad enough that I stopped working. It hurt to move. I laid down for a little bit and focused energy on it. I was able to go finish my post holes as long as I stayed in close with my body and the post hole digger. Later that night I had ripping feelings. Joseph used my salve on me. He rubbed it out for about 15 minutes. It was gone and I was ready to work the next day. I have not had to use my own salve until now and I am excited that it works so great!

So today will be another challenge for my herb lessons. This morning my dog Bushido decided to charge at our other dog and be dominant. The problem is I was sleeping and he ran over my eyeball full steam ahead. At first I told Joseph don't worry about it. I got up thinking I has having tears coming out of my eye. It was blood. I had blood on my forehead, my cheek and my eye. I could not tell where it was coming from. Then I cleaned it up. I noticed the blood was coming from my tear duct. After that I did wake Joseph up to help. Of course I felt liking passing out. Sat down. Figured out where the injury was. I applied my salve around the eye and did circular massage. I will also do some herbal poultices. My eye is a bit blurry when reading and my tear duct stings. The one positive thing about this, is I am learning how to treat injuries at a high rate of learning. I am signing off for the day because I think the computer screen will damage my healing efforts at this point. So, all of you have a beautiful day. I am headed out into nature. Nature is a great healer along with the beautiful healing plants she provides.
