We just finished building our hoophouse, which is tall enough for me to walk through without bending, and has doors on both ends. It's really big! Now we can start our greens much earlier, as well as get better harvests and extend our season after summer. We're getting close to growing all we really need, though it is nice to buy wonderful cheeses and fancy foods once in a while.

I wish also that we had some organic goat milk dairy nearby. I love goat milk and goat cheese.

Hmmm, this may call for some brainstorming. It could turm out to be a big but amazing project!

I think it would be a great project to help teach people how to get their gardens started.

The more food sustainable our city becomes the better it would be if tough economic times hit.  Plus, look at all the benefits you get from eating healthy,

Awesome Job !!  I can only hope we can have more local dairy around us.  I wish we has some local farmers raising cows that were organic and grass fed only.  Having local raw dairy would rock!
