Healthy kids tip of the day, mix veggies into other food dishes. Broccoli, cabbage, collard greens, red peppers, and zucchini to name a few can easily be shredded or grated and added to numerous main and side dishes without suspicion from a veggie-phobic kid. I have even blended the veggies to add to soups. Don't forget you can add zucchini, blended fruits and carrots to homemade breads. Yes, fresh is best, but it is better that kids eat their veggies in some form rather than not at all.
