Since, last weekend I have been in different towns and around a lot of toxic humans.  Yesterday seemed to be my breaking point.  I was just barely hanging on.  Muscle burning with any movement, feeling weak, feels like my ribs are poking my liver again and swollen tung. I went to bring some food to Brandon at his work.  This person I do  not see very much came over and gave me a big toxic perfumed hug.  I did not hug back thinking they would get the hint.   Did not work.  On my way home I noticed my clothes smelled like her perfume.  I took my top layer off, drove in darkness, the cold ( The window is broken in our truck)  and tears welled up inside.

My mind is in a better place today and I will say it is because I live with Kung Fu in all areas of my life.

All I can say is "Be Kung Fu towards all areas of your life".

Because of my past week this is what I wrote for myself.  Enjoy your day and remember be Kung Fu

"Refilling the coffers of my soul, replenishment is needed" As darkness invades and tears well up into my soul it feels tired, overloaded, harried, frustrated, itchy, nervous, at a loss, empty and weakened. As I come to my sacred place and breath in the fresh air I see a frog upon my window in the darkness of night it tells me to sing away the world of fright. I hear honor your tears for they cleanse the soul. I t calls that I sing to quench my soul, to refresh and to purify. To weave my web of delight by weaving myself a peaceful world. I will find peace in the joy of taking time to give to myself. To know that a part of this giving is cleansing myself of any person , place or thing that does not contribute to my state of serenity and replenishment. It is a time to create a different phase in my life but my most important message to myself is to know I am an infinite being who needs to continue to weave the patterns of life and living throughout my time and to see the expansiveness of the eternal plan.

Perfume makes me nauseated. I think it is the petrochemicals in it.  Of course it depends on the situation, but I think one has the right to speak up and say that one is allergic to it. In any orchestra or choir, perfume (including lotions) is not allowed.  Occasionally an admin member makes a speach to us to remind us. Singers are especially sensitive, as it can make them hoarse. I think it shouldn't be allowed to wear perfume in the workplace. It makes so many people ill.

Sue:

I've demonstrated an allergy to every perfume that has ever been tested on me. But all they do to me is produce blinding headaches and bouts of distemper. (Although I do admit a fondness for the aroma of diesel in the morning and that of burnt nitrocellulose). For you, the consequences are so much more severe. Unfortunately, the repercussions of that seemingly innocent hug will probably never be known to the perfume wearer. Nor will they ever realize the harm they are doing to themselves.
