My training day today was a 3 mile up hill run that included a few creeks.  It was not as muddy as I would have liked but it was a great up hill challenge.  It also include at least 6 little up and down motor cross type hills.  Hills are one of my favorite things to do, and I am not kidding.  

The best part about it was doing this with Sophia and Laz.   

I can't tell you how important it is to be active and get involved with your toddlers, kids, teens and young adults.  Especially now days with so much screen time that is being thrown at you.  The other issue is the addiction to all of that screen time.  On that note this was a great day to train no screen time.  Which this is pretty easy for us, but for some this could be very  hard.  ( No screen time means, no cell phones, no texting, no movies, no tv. etc.....)

Other parts of this training day was life skills.  The life skill that was hopefully being instilled was keeping playfulness as an adult and by doing this your children will learn the most important life skill there is (besides eating healthy and exercise) and that is keeping play in your life even as an adult.  When I say play I mean outside.  IN NATURE 

It was a great day!  Sophia and I are planning our goals for second degree black belt, camping, jumping  in more rivers, training pull-ups, bars and ropes.  STRETCHING.....  Of course more trails that have mud....
