I am still here, still sticking to my goals, still working on my forms and still getting ready for my first forms test.  

I have not blogged lately because I had my niece come up and visit for a week.  Trying to keep up with my workouts and keep her busy was a big challenge. 

Because it is vitally important to me to get my niece outside and away as much as possible from computers and out in nature I had set up several hikes and outdoor activities.  

June 20th

5 mile Gorge hike all up hill and steep. 

June 21st 

Hike up hill

10 front kicks, right and left

10 straight leg kicks, right and left

15 standing oblique right and left

10 outside crescent kicks, right and left

10 inside crescent kicks, right and left

10 spinning inside crescent kicks, right and left

10 whirl wind kicks, right and left

June 22nd

Up early for harvesting for the Wellness Boxes for our CSA Clients 

2 mile hike straight up, while my niece and Sophia rode the horses.  I kept up with the four leg animals walking fast.

June 23rd

10 falls hike, Silver Falls, 8 1/2 miles.  Run walk  was the pace.  It is a tradition for me to run the hill/stairs  at the end where the north falls is   We were hit with the heaviest rain fall that I have been in for a long time right when we all started to run.  As we were running back to the parking lot to the south side, I added a little extra fun for my niece (she is 15) by running through the big deep muddy puddles.    We were soaked and It was epic !   A memory was imprinted forever with this rainy,muddy, run.  

June 24th

Up a steep hill, to do my forms workout and kicking workout.  At this point I am a little tired of hills!

That day we went to Pacific City.  We climb the dune ( another hill!), made tea, the girls had hot cocoa.

June 25th

Today, June 28th

I had to shorten my workout   I had to water all the gardens first.  

18 forms in the heat of the day!  Whew 

Tomorrow is a rest day.

Sunday I will be doing my kicking workout, hill work and 18 forms.  

Monday and Tuesday will be hiking days with backpacks and in the Cascades! 

Forms test is getting closer! 

Silver Falls is a beautiful place.  It has  a lot of hiking trails.  The Gorge is loaded with hikes to.  It is a great time of the year to get outside and try some new hikes.  Bring plenty of water and healthy food!
