Listening to my body ... taking it to another level

For the past couple of weeks I have been doing the following rhythm with forms:

Two reps of Basic Wushu

Two reps of 8 Chained Punch

Three reps of Wallum staff

Two reps of Hammer strike

Two reps of Yut Yee

Three reps of Wallum Big first form

Two reps of Standing Horse

Two reps of Mantis Grab

Three reps of 7 Kicks (I knew half of the form up to yesterday)

Two reps of Poi Choi

Two reps of Yut Sum

Three reps of Wallum Staff

Two reps of Wallum Little first form

Three reps of Wallum Big first form

Three reps of 7 kicks

Now that I have received all the material for the intermediate level, I am turning my training from remembering the new forms to training the new forms in flow, power, and stamina. I have about 10 things to give attention to as well with my first 9 forms, not to mention Staff Basics. I am going to experiment with what rhythm works for training hard with so much material and incorporate rest days as needed on a three or four day cycle. We will see.
