We have been at the school very early today. Jade and Sophia were practicing on their black belt requirements. I was working on forms and performance team routines. We had a performance team practice at 11:00 am and we have another at 7:30 pm.
I did all the things I said I would do last weekend. That Felt great. I let the family sleep in on Sunday so I figure out how to take a 130lb dog and my horse up all by myself. I was craving being up in the mountains and did not want to wait for everyone. So this is what I did, please do not try this at home.
I believe I weight about 130 maybe a little more.
I tied Rocky's leash around my waist.
I hooked up Bella and up we went. It is a steep slippery muddy hill at first. With Rocky behind me afraid of the horse and pulling a little backwards then Bella up ahead going faster and with me wearing boots with no tread. Wow! Again please do not do this at home. At one point I had Bella's butt ready to push me into a tree at the same time Rocky was pulling me into a different direction.
Well, I did make it up to the gravel road. At that point it got easier. Rocky on his forward march up pulling and Bella in her usual mode of I don't want to go up. This worked out great. I had Rocky pulling my body up (remember the leash was around my waist) therefore it was also pulling Bella up. I ended up staying up there for a little over 2 hours. It was a great day. It is nice having a focus point of I am going to get there and I did.

Goals for this week:
Keep energy up for the performance
