Women Only Target Shooting

Well Sunday was great. The group was large, there was 10 women and we had some sun, Wow! This get together was not a class that was taught by an instructor but to come and dust off your gun and practice. It was for women to support each other and have fun. We did have just a couple of women who showed up to shoot who have never shot a gun before, so guns were shared. It was great watching them as they shot a few times, my shot gun seemed to be the conversation piece, it has a big kick. Most of us did not know each other that well so it was a time to chat, it seemed that chickens were a big part of the conversation, gardening, food allergies and boy scout motto of always be prepared. Being prepared meant a lot of things, extra food, extra water, extra.............. Are you prepared if an earthquake hit? A loss of job?

I will be scheduling another one soon, but the group will have to be smaller. It took a long time for everyone to get their turns. The next one there will only be six allowed. It will be at my place which means no cells phones allowed, and only organic food can be brought there. Of course the usual no fragrance. I will also add a hike up the mountain before we target shoot so we can get a work out in for the day
