KUNG FU FUNNIES

 

I was showing my hubby the new, light weight and very strong walking sticks/self protective staffs that I am making and he raised one eyebrow and threatened not to go on our hike together.

I reasured him that it was only for support as I had hurt my foot while working the other day, and that he was in no danger at all.

 Unless he wanted to allow me to "practice" some of my kicks with him, because, well my aim might be a tad off.

"You can't kick me with a cracked foot" he quipped. "Don't bet on it ", I teased. "This foot can support my weight now and the staff will balance me so I will have better precison and I can nail you... um I mean practice on you with my good foot!" 

 "I think I will wait till you are better", he demured.  "Well let me at least demonstrate ten part for you", I  said, hobbeling into a good stance and ready for practice!

"Just a minute!" he said. "I think I hear the phone ringing!" 

 He charged into the house. I amused myself with some free flow while waiting his return.

 Shortley he came out of the house and said, "How about a trip to the coast to visit cousin Gary and Dee?"

"You sir, are a coward!" I teased. "I have been warned," he stated very carefully, "to never approach a wounded animal! They are very dangerous. I will be your assistant when your foot is well!"

 "Hmmmph! well for that you can just buy me a coffee!" With a swift smack on my Kung Fu seat, he darted around the the passenger side of the van and called shotgun. Which meant I had to drive!

 Grumbling I started the van. Grinning from ear to ear he explained that since I was his own, "Kung Fu Hottie" that he could take it easy and relax under my full protection.

 Hmmm, well at least by the time I got my coffee I was more interested in drinking it then dumping it on him. KUNG FU!
