Homeschooling

Some people (not from Kung fu school) have surprised me with their negative assumptions about homeschooling, how Johanna will turn into an antisocial weirdo etc. but I find the opposite already. She loves it. She offers to help with home and garden tasks without being asked, she asks if she can practice more piano. This morning I found her using the computer and feared she was playing computer games. Turned out she was doing school work! No regrets about homeschooling! She's starting to knit, and in two weeks her sewing lessons start.

I've been home schooled for 4 years and I'm not a antisocial weirdo; some of the most famous athletes,and actors are home schooled.There is a lot of anti home school propaganda out there convincing people that home school isn't good for their child. This is because public/private schools don't want to lose students or money. Like Mr. Bronson said, "forgive their ignorance" they have absolutely no idea what their talking about.

People that put homeschooling down have no understanding of what true education and excellent social skills are. Please forgive their ignorance and enjoy the path that you have chosen for you and your daughter.
