Today on my day off I started training for my intermediate forms test. I plan on taking the test with in the next four to six months. After today's training session I relised this is going to be one steep hill to get in shape for this hour and a half test.

I still have a fresh memory of my beginning forms test that I took last June. It was just one hour but when I was done my body was wiped out physically. Right after the test I wrote down what Sifu had me do during the test. I won't give the test secrets away but I think I can say that for me I ended up averaging a form a minute.

So I think I will need to train for a minimum of 90 forms for a 90 minute test. So I say it's time for some KungFu power training.

Day one. I jumbed in with both feet.

I did free flow to get warmed up.

Then each of the twelve forms four times. I added two more Hammer strike forms to make it an even 50 forms. I know I picked the shortest form to do extra but it is day one.

Then each staff basic 100 times except walking side to side strike. I did that one for five minutes.
I finished with staff ten count drill for five minutes as fast as I could go.

30 minutes of stretching then a big organic salad.

Day one done!

My legs are jello.

Great first day on this journey. Remember to be careful to not over train but build up gradually.
