Greetings to everyone from the beautiful coastal mountains of Western Oregon. I have had a great deal of time to think about the situation that we have been going through. I do believe that it will take some work, but I see us being stronger as individuals and as a nation  when we have learned the lessons afforded us by this predicament.

I have heard wonderful reports of many of you training on your own. That is so awesome. Keep up the great work. For those of you that might have slacked off due to this situation all I can say is that your training in Kung Fu can (and truly is) a wonderful way to relieve stress. If there is anything that we need to do right now it is to find (and practice) all of our (healthy) stress release modalities.

A vigorous workout is one of the best stress release practices there are. And you have made a commitment  to yourself to progress in your Kung Fu. This would be the worst time to not follow through on what you have promised to yourself. Kung Fu is so much more than just a workout. If practiced properly it is one of the very best meditation practices on the planet.

I look forward to opening the doors to the Kung Fu school again soon. I know that all of you will make it through to the other side of this mess with your Kung Fu stronger than ever.

Keep your attitudes positive!

Keep your minds sharp!!!!!

Keep your body's healthy!!!!!!!

I will see you in class soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yours in the arts,

Sifu Joseph Bronson

P.S. here is a blog that I never posted. Wrote it about six months ago. I think it is very appropriate to post it NOW.

Be Brave

Face your fears.

You are always at the crossroads.

Do you choose to give in or push forward.

You are stronger than you think.

Be Strong

If you wish to move forward you must train your mind.

What you think is the most important thing for that will be what guides your actions.

Do not let negative thoughts occupy your mind.

This takes constant vigilance.

A negative thought is anything that draws you away from your chosen path.

Complete the Journey!

You are going to run into obstacles!

Complete the Journey!

You will have job problems, relationship problems, school problems, financial problems.

There is no excuse!!

Complete the Journey!

You can do this.

You may find you are walking alone.

But it is far better to walk alone in the right direction than to be walking with others in the wrong direction.

BE BRAVE

BE STRONG

COMPLETE THE JOURNEY
