Understanding Kung Fu for life, health and self defense
To day on this first day of the week, was a great day on Spirit Mountain Farms! Much accomplished! After Liz and I did cardio up Spirit Mountain, we came home and began green house work followed by our treating the cats for ear mites with our home made natural ear mite killer! (Their Majesties were NOT pleased) then we mowed, cut firewood with the chain saw. THEN it was time to cut the trees that had fallen down across the paths and hack the trail to the river down. Annnnnd the score iiiiiis..... Ninja 4, Procrastination 1! SOB!!!! 4 days I did my cardio and today I missed it! Wait just a moment while I find some goat cheese to serve you with my whine! Today was not the best day for the Procrastinating Ninja!
It all started innocently enough. The covers were soooo warm and my back hurt. I stretched out from under the covers and jumped up to shut off my obnoxious alarm. Then when I went down stairs I realized I was out of coffee!!! I am not…

Finally! I talked myself into implementing a schedual of cardio I think I can keep! Talk about procrastination! But, I have successfully completed 4 days of every other day cardio with the kids walking up Spirit Mountain and I am now up to 15 mins uphill with out stopping!!! And today I didn't even gasp and wheeze all the way up, only about 1/3 of the way! Major improvement! Weight is starting to drop too! I have also been green juicing every day as well. Feeling really good! I am comitted…

Listening to your children is something that our culture does less and less of as a whole. The only way to really know someone is to listen. After our cardio hike up Spirit Mountain, we began our descent amid the chirping of the birds, the wet smells of the lush green forest and the sound of running water in the stream adjacent to the logging road. I was lagging behind children numbers 5 and 6, (being very careful of my knees on the decent) when I…
