Understanding Repetition

You are what you habitually do.  We all know this to be true.  As long as we are habitually working on our Kung Fu then we are, over time, gaining all of the benefits of that course of action. 

So why are people not super successful at Kung Fu (or any of their other chosen activities)?  This is because habit is not something we do for a little while, once in a while.  A habit is something we consistently do over and over again.  Often until the day we die.

I am not here to play.  

If being a warrior was about play then everyone would be warriors.  Can you have fun in the study of Kung Fu?  Yes, but if fun  is the main objective then I am afraid that you will never go far.

How To Not Be A Failure

No one discusses the topic of failure very often.  But it is always looking over your shoulder.  Failure is walking beside you on every step of your warrior journey 

We must confront the fact that we could fail at any moment.  This failure would come from our choice to stop pushing forward towards our stated goals.
