Yes we all will age and, yes, we will become less able to do many of the things that were possible when we were younger. Pad drills, at their highest level, should be practiced as a meditation. A state of focused oneness with the drill is our main goal. When a student reaches this state of oneness (focus) with the drill, time blur's. There is no thought of self, other, the pads.
