Update On Robert Frisbee

As of last night:

The CT scan for Robert Frisbee showed amazing results. The swelling has decreased dramatically, and the heart seems to begin repairing a tear. They are going to try and push off the surgery for five days. Unfortunately his blood pressure is still high and the CICU has requested no more visitors except family. Please keep those candles lit…

Your mission

It's Sunday night, and I am getting ready for the next week. What will I teach my students that will impact their lives? I work hard to bring a positive message to all of my students every class. Whether it is the Mighty Monkeys or the Forms class or everything in between. This week I would like to ask all of my students to take on the mission of creating the most positive week possible. This is something that I work at for myself and what I  encourage others to do all of the time. But this…

Student Needs Help

Tonight I am writing an email that I hope to never have to write again. One of my students ( Robert Frisbee ) is in ICU at Saint Vincent's medical center. He is facing a very dangerous operation to save his life. He is a very young man with twins on the way. Staying alive is the only option that I can contemplate for him.

I am asking my students to do two things. One, join us in praying, meditating, sending positive energy or just thinking…

The great battle

We are in the midst of a great battle and most people do not even know that it is going on.This battle is for your health, your families health and the health of the planet.

The bad guys in this battle are very rich and powerful. their agenda is to feed you unhealthy foods and inject you with poisons. As they make Billions (maybe Trillions) by providing the poisons that you ingest or the injections that you accept. The bad guys spend millions to convince you that these foods and…

Injury

This morning, while doing my regular morning routine to get to the Kung Fu school, I strained a muscle/tendon in my hand and forearm. I was already warmed up from the mornings activities. I had been up since about 4:30 AM hunting the…

The chisels task

Many martial artists mistake the tool for the task.

Imagine a fine set of wood chisels. These chisels are well made and the owner keeps them sharpened and clean. Ready for use. The owner of these chisels brings friends and family over to look at his beautiful chisels. He puts each chisel in a frame and hangs it on the wall. He may even go so far as to build a shrine around his chisels and worship them.

Like the owner of the fine, high quality, chisels. A martial artist that…

We did it!!!!!!!

On Dec. 18th 2012 I wrote a blog post asking for help. I had been put in a situation that could potentially lose the space that the kung fu school is located in. That would not have been the end of us but it would have been quite a hardship. The letter I wrote laid out the bare facts. It was not easy to send it out because I have never asked for help on such a large scale in my life. The response was great. So many of my students, their family members and old students that are no longer…
