Great Saturday

I went to the nine o'clock class today and enjoyed practicing with Mercedes, Ian, Angela, and Phil. We had a great time doing sticks and punches.

Then I went to Sue's wellness class at ten. Me, Vicki and Anthony joined Sue for some great tea, then Sue outlined her seven week class. It is going to be great, we are starting early on fighting off the holiday ten pounds that most people gain during that time.

Dave's Kung Fu benefits

3:30am and I can't sleep. My mind is wide awake and haunting me with regrets from the past and anxiety about the future. Maybe this is just the human condition. So, here's the benefit. When in Kung Fu class the past and future disappear because my focus and total attention must be on the drill, the kick, the punch which gives me a break from the crud. I love being in the moment.
