you're right Sue,integrity and discipline are the Kung Fu lifestyle. It seems that a Black belt is like a fine blade or sword. It must be polished and sharpened occasionaly.

Terrific class last night. I had a great mental workout;smoke coming from my ears. Between the Ginko tea and the mental challenge of the Black Belt classes I look forward to better focus and and less brain fog. I hope to see more of my Black belt brothers and sisters next time.

This is a modified version of a workout developed by the Marine Special Operations Command. I do it once or twice a week, it's full body, get's your heart pumping and will keep you physically flexible. The only things I modified are the push-ups,trunk twists,and lunges. I wanted to throw in some variety. I recommend you keep rest to a minimum 10-15 seconds tops to get the maximum benefit. It's rather demanding. Nearly a month ago I earned my 2nd degree black belt. After regaining my strength 3 days later, I enjoyed many activities I had put off in order to focus on my training. I played basketball, went hiking, wrestled, played racquetball, and did some climbing that first week. The 2nd week I jumped off a bunk bed and landed on someone's deodorant.
