Crispy Pumpkin Seeds

Crispy Pumpkin Seeds

Makes 4 cups

4 cups raw organic, hulled pumpkin seeds

2 tablespoons sea salt

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper ( optional but taste great and it is not to spicy)

1 gallon jar and cheese cloth

Filtered water

This recipe imitates the Aztec practice of soaking seeds in Brine.  

In the glass gallon jar dissolve sea salt in water, add pumpkin seeds and optional cayenne.   Cover with cheese cloth.   Leave in a warm place…

The Case For Raw Milk, Keep Soy and Pasteurized Dairy Out Of Your Diet

I do not agree that Organic Raw Milk has been directly linked to cancer, type 1 diabetes, MS, Eczema, hear disease and etc...    Drinking raw milk dates back 30,000 years ago. The earliest human artifacts include vessels containing traces of milk residue.  Hippocrates, Galen and other ancient physicians used raw milk in the treatment of disease.  As late as the 20th century, modern physicians prescribed the raw milk cure to their patients…

Planning Your Meals and Snacks

Eating right does not begin at the stove or at the table. It starts with a plan.  But the best-laid plans are worthless if they don't fit your activities and food preferences.  Planning your menus means more than just thinking about what you will eat.  

You should write down your food choices on a day-by-day basis:  The process should not feel overwhelming.  If it does, perhaps you are making too many changes too quickly.

Slightly different version of the herbal energy balls

High-powered food supplement.  They are energizing and restorative.  The are especially great for men.  Be  sure the herbs are finely powdered.

This recipe come from a book we use a lot at our house to keep us all healthy.  The book is Rosemanry Gladstar's herbal Recipes for Vibrant Health.

This is my version of the recipe that is in he book:

Workouts

Yesterday, my workout post did not work according to how it was suppose to go.  I thought I would share with you what my experience was .  The post was this, the workout today consists of: Raking horse poo, brushing three horses, taking dogs and horses up the hill, dips at the top, push ups at the top, hanging abs, bicep curls, reverse curls, shoulder press, one arm row and stretch.  I made it outside to pick up horse poo, I untangle a few manes and then it was time to get food together.  My…
