I am one of the original students that started Mr. Bronson's Forms class when forms class first started.
I believe I have been doing them off and on for 13 years plus. I was hit with an illness caused by the chemicals in our environment and it has literally taken parts of my life away. It has also left me for my death bed a few times.
No matter what hits with my MCS/EI I am not going to loose my focus. I will just move slower and not as low. I feel awakened, alive and…

Aside from seeing the amazing wildlife in this country, I have also found great places for outdoor training.
We stayed in Cape Town for a month. One weekend I hiked up and around Table Mountain. It was a cool misty day...reminded me of home...great place for a little straight horse stance....the time passes faster when surrounded by great scenery. …

Gnocchi anyone? My family loves it!
I just came across this recipe this morning and I will be making it this weekend. I have plenty of arugula and spinach growing in the gardens ( a rare breed spinach that I have been growing for the last 4 years and saving it seeds).
Making gnocchi sounds complicated, but it's actually fairly easy. They can be frozen for later use, just add a couple more minutes to the cooking time.
1 pound yukon gold potatoes,…

Today's Breakfast:
When I cook, most of the time I just throw things together. The spices I use depend on the mood I am in, what I have in stock and what country I feel like eating from. Today, I had some snow peas from the garden so the mood was Asian stir fry. There are no exact measurements here. I am thinking that I should have added some freshly grated ginger and saute it with the celery.…

Our food is becoming more toxic, our food traditions that are passed down are toxic. These food traditions that are passed down, are toxic choices that need to stop. It is NOT ok to eat a candy cane with red 40 in it, it is NOT ok to eat a valentines day cup cake with Red 40 in it, it is NOT ok to eat marshmallow throughout the summer on your camping trips, they are full of GMO ingredients and toxic food coloring, it is NOT ok to eat at the sports snack shack, it is NOT ok to eat the…

When the tiredness sets in from weeks that seemed like months, nights that seemed too short, the days seemed like you could not catch up on anything, and now you hit a wall. That was me today
That is when the little evil voices tell you, you can't do it. These evil little voices tell you things like you can't get up that mountain, you are moving to slow, just stay in bed, just look at the computer more, you have no energy so just watch a movie, maybe you should eat some junk,…

I can only hope that "Silent Spring" does not happen. Hope is all I can hold, but in reality of this realm, by which I see, hope might not be enough....

We must push hard to rid our world of the toxic chemicals that are used in conventional agriculture. Support local organic farmers... …

Statement by Rosemary Gladstar
Women have been experiencing menopause for eons, so it amazes me that in our era menopause is so often designated as a medical condition, an anomaly that requires medical intervention. menopause is a state of being, not a disease. medical intervention should be the exception, not the norm.
Many of the symptoms of menopause are similar to those of adrenal stress: nervous disorders, severe depression, irritability, fatigue, and…

Today I am especially feeling frustrated. I was reading on old post from Mr. Bronson about chemicals in our hoses, as well as many older posts and new posts about how we lost 30% of our bees in the US (again), which now means that the almond/blueberry/apple crops will probably not get pollinated. We have reached that critical low point.
Why do we have to work SO HARD NOT TO POISON OURSELVES?!? Why do we have to do tons of research in hard to find places so as NOT to kill our…

For many years I have heard people say they can not afford to eat healthy foods. Being a single mom for years I new they were very wrong. People can afford to eat healthy. The underlying issue is this, we have a society that does not know how to cook. Living off of a dollar menu will give nothing but bad health and a lot of expensive health care bills. Besides why not work on feeling good, vibrant, healthy, active, awake, motivated and happy. You are what you eat. If you…

For many people ageing is synonymous with the loss of ability. Ability to jump as high, bend as low, kick as fast etc... Yes we all will age and, yes, we will become less able to do many of the things that were possible when we were younger. ( On a physical note, it is very important to continue striving for our highest level of ability no matter what limitations may come our way. This is an important part of growing old gracefully).
This short article is specifically meant to…

Long ago I wasn't such a healthy person. I ate Cheetos,Cup'O'noodles,Lays chips, and more. I also ate candy's filled with artificial colors. And worst of all I drank soda, and ENERGY DRINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! And not just your average energy drinks. I'm talking "extra large" Monster energy drinks! So one day I was drinking my daily Monster(Sometimes 2 a day),and suddenly it felt like someone poked my brain with a needle! I then knew it was the drink so I quit that very day. Then I realized after…

Pad drills, at their highest level, should be practiced as a meditation. A state of focused oneness with the drill is our main goal. When a student reaches this state of oneness (focus) with the drill, time blur's. There is no thought of self, other, the pads. Total focus is on oneness and perfection of movement/self in the moment. Through great dedication, perseverance and an unwavering commitment to self. Each student has the capability of reaching both great physical technique in their…
