My Progress and Goals

My progress:  It has been 4 weeks since I was in a serious accident.  I am healing really good.  I  probably have a few more months of healing.   Today we went over the new plan.  I will be taking  herbs that fight infection less and adding herbs (for my mouth) that heal.  Myrrh and Licorice root powders will be added to make a homemade toothpaste and also an herbal mouth wash.    We will be working on the scar tissue on my upper lip, it needs to be loosened up so I…

Self Defense Comes In Many Forms - Protecting Our Heritage Is Self Defense - Fire Cider

This is my families discussion on what Shire City Herbals(Brian, Dana and Amy) have done ( click video link below). So far they are showing no respect, and their hearts hold on to corporate greed. I can only hope their hearts purge the greediness that they carry. No I will not feel bad if we as a community close down their business. However, if they realize what they did, which is something very bad, apologize and drop the trademark, then I will…

weapons disarm class

I loved that class. I was a bit sore from a good forms class Friday night, and then I went on a 3.5 mile hike on somewhat hilly ground Saturday morning, so by the end of the weapons disarm class I was pretty tired. It was a great day for getting exercise! And the class was excellent. Those who missed it really missed out!

Angel's Rest hike

While I was hiking up the trail to Angel's Rest my chest was heaving and heart pounding I thought this is like eating those bitter greens that are so good for me. When we got to the top I was drenched with sweat but the view and the company of friends was magic. Get outside and challenge yourself, eat well and laugh a lot.

15 min

I had 15 minutes, so I dusted off my Nunchaku and was happily surprised that all the drills flowed pretty smooth. I only dropped them once, left handed grip switch, Grrrrrr.

Little Mantis and the beginnings of Mantis bow

This past week I was able to receive the rest of Little Mantis and it is quickly becoming my favorite form. With each step in the forms process, I have been wonderfully surprised with the new learning and training. I am now working on working the Little Mantis at slow speeds and beginning the formation of my last form in the 2nd degree process. It is called Mantis bow.

To my fellow warriors in the making, take this Super Bowl Sunday and work towards your next goal.

So far so good!

Todays background radiation check was performed at Waylen Island in Oregon on the coast. The air had a 10 CPM radiation reading and the water had a 20 CPM radiation reading. Still with in safe limits. So head on over and enjoy this area of the coast while you still can. This is not actually an island but a beautiful inlet with an awsome hiking trail going completely around.

Tom Kha Immune Building Soup

These last couple of days I have been craving cilantro.    I wanted a strong cilantro taste in my soup, so I added it to the blender  raw and then blended it till smooth.

Here are  a few health benefits of cilantro:

Cilantro is  a powerful natural cleansing agent.  It has been effectively used to help remove heavy metals and other toxic agents from the…

Best Soup Smoothie

Today I needed to focus more warm smoothies, because the last few cold ones have left me feeling too cold and I have  had to go take a shower hydro-therapy way.

I really like the one I made today.  So for those of you who are ever in a position that you need soft foods here is a recipe for you.

Organic lentil soup with veggies,   2 cups ( Amys Organics or…

My Progress

One of my favorite teas that I have been drinking is creamy coconut turmeric tea.   Turmeric is great for inflammation and many other things.

Healing Great !

On December 28th I was in an accident, at first my husband thought I was going to be in critical condition or dead. I lost a tooth, one was dangling, teeth were moved into the back of my mouth ( I thought I lost them or swallowed them), I had a fracture…

Choose Love Over Fear, Finding The Courage To Move On

Today I pushed myself to take my horses back up the mountain.   I had to do this, I was having some emotional issues over it.  This was a challenge for me considering, I almost died two weeks ago.   I was talking to my husband about what I needed to work through.  I did not know the camera was on until the end.  I would like to share with you what my struggle is and how I am working through it.  Thank you …
